Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Repost. Employee contempt for leadership

Walmart and Sam’s has apparently treated their employees so poorly that the employees actively root for the company’s demise. That tells me that the treatment of our workers has been so abysmal that people are not only angry with leadership, they have contempt for them.

Now we have a situation where people who should be our most loyal shoppers and should be spreading the word to shop at Walmart, likely only shop with us because they have to. And I highly doubt they say good things about the company to others. That’s why, no matter how much we spend on PR, our reputation continues to suffer. You can’t buy enough good publicity to cover up what your employees say about you.

The end of Walmart will be a case study in poor leadership. That’s sad considering such a great leader started the company.

Well said like Sam Walton said treat your employees good in return they will take care of your business. With the leadership we have corporate greed has taken over, they no longer want advice from what was once viewed as associates have the best ideals, they are on the front lines day in day out.

Excellent post!

For the non-believers, would you consider purchasing a new home or car given the obvious uncertainty of working for either Sam’s or Walmart as your means of income in the very near future? If the answer is yes, you’re a fool indeed.

The name of the case study will be: “ How To Rot & Wreck A Major Fortune 500 Company From The Inside Out”

Leaders are living for the moment only concerned about their personal gains and wealth, not the survival of the company (let alone its workers). Winter is Coming!!

Babylon will fall soon. Too many have done too much dirt to good people for this company to ever survive. “Sow the wind...”
