Just noticed that Walmart Neighborhood Market Store in San Antonio is closing early next week. Has this been announced previously or is this one of those stealth closings?
I thought most of the Neighborhood Markets were doing well, so this comes as a surprise to me. Am I wrong?

when did this walmart close. Does anyone know of any other neighborhood market stores closing. I work in a small store.
I know of several stores that closed in Indiana and Kentucky. Google searches dont return results. The local news did a brief piece on it. Allegedly they were all low profit/high theft locations.
It's too many Walmart, Sams Club and Neighbor Walmart in the same towns. If the sales are not good, alot of things come in to play.
The only supporting news I found on this was a store closing in Nov. of 2017---almost a year ago.
