I am embarrassed to be associated with Qualcomm. Within the San Diego community and the overall tech community (corporate and research academics).
The nepotism and unbridled greed is absolutely appalling.
I pray those hurt this year will find peace and new opportunities.

Those who have found good jobs at Intel, nVidia, and Microsoft after layoffs will tell you that Qualcomm does not pay well!
Chill, it is all good. Get out there then you will know how good we have here. Those laid off got a good severance as supposed to getting escorted sane day. Put things in perspective; it could be worse!!!!
Which is better, $180k/year x 5 years or $120k/year x 25 years?
