Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Anybody tried the data science masters at UCSD

Any success in getting your department to reimburse the 39k fee in current company scenario. I have a masters degree but am finding it impossible to crack or even get interviews. Can somebody provide genuine insights on

  • managing work and school

  • success in getting a new job on the basis of that masters

  • issues if you already have a masters

  • how hard was it to get the fee reimbursed

Try this:

Build a site or app

Use 30k to buy traffic and build the user base

Use site data for analysis

Outcome: selfstarter, enterpreneur, marketeer, data scientist > pick a job u like
