Younger Sibling HPQ is laying of 5000 in coming months. Will the disease spread to the older Sibling HPE as well? Time will tell.

i think you meant HPI.
Yes but they are hiring 20,000 replacements in India.
If you want to invoke history, neither companies represent true HP although you could argue HPI may be a bit closer to HPI than is HPE. The latter wants to be so far removed from anything the original HP represents that they are cutting and running from their birthplace Palo Alto.
IMHO, Agilent and Keysight are the True HP and they are doing extremely well going by their stock performance.
Lol. And someone please explain how people at HPE think they are the “original” HP when their logo is a green coffin whereas HPI’s logo is “hp”; just like it had been for 79 years.
Younger sibling?? Both companies were started the SAME DAY Einstein. And HPI has grown 92% vs 17% for HPE since that time. Learn how to read before you post your stupidity again.
HPE losers just trying to make them feel better about ending up on the loser side of the split
HP didn't just announce 5,000 new layoffs.
This is a part of the 4,000 layoffs that were originally announced two years ago. The company increased its original estimate of 4,000 by 500 to 1,000.
In addition, some of these layoffs have already taken place.
While this is not good, it's not as bad as it sounds. So take a deep breath and read up a little more on it.
