Anyone else dreading wasting their time at this conference with workshops like training your team.. I mean what team? The team that was laid off or hours slashed every year.

So, while the managers are away, who the heck is covering these stores knowing that we have been "doing more with less" for quite some time? The smaller stores are the ones that amaze me at how they do it with so little help. These folks are rock stars.

I had a boss whose motto is "do more with less". I think he is giving training session on that.
re attire: always surprises me at these things what people interprets as business casual. It is pretty simple for men-chinos and a polo. Women, I have sometimes wanted to snap photos to laugh at later, as I question if they considered their outfit as work appropriate.
Let's just say a few could use a helping hand in this depatment.

dreading. after a very busy year of doing the job of 4 people, the last thing I need to hear is "look, more stuff for you to do"
