I escaped the Farm earlier this year with what was left of my sanity, for an entirely different career direction and didn't keep in touch with anyone from my old department (there was no time to get to know/talk to co-workers after the teams were reorganized)
Everyone was too busy being told to keep their heads down, work faster, make the impossible metrics. When we did have time to talk to each other, it was to complain about how awful it was there.
"No, we won't adjust the calendar expectations over the weekends when the office isn't open, you WILL be out of compliance every Monday!"
"Wait! You worked your butt off to get caught up so for once you won't be out of compliance if you finish six more calendars today? Stop what you are doing and go do someone else's work, we can't have you in goal or de-stressed!"
"You just did what you were taught/told to do last week? We'll that's wrong now, here's a write up"
"Hey! We're going to implement this new program. No, it's not done yet. Oh, we're going to train you on it, but it will all change a week after you get out of this training you wasted three days attending while your case load gets farther out of compliance, and then it will change again, part of it will be done in this program and part in this other program, well, unless it was reported on this date, Oh wait if it was reported on this date, that's entirely different."
Are people still leaving? Have they finally hired more BI Specialists? Will that stupid Mitchell program ever work properly?
