Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Ride it out

I’m just going to cut back on my expenses, anticipating a layoff, to what the average salary is around me, and ride it out. However it evolves, I’ll be prepared for the worst, and hope for the best. For now, if I ignore the chaos and focus on my job, I find I’m feeling better about it overall...as the prior poster said in another thread about the elephant in the room? I’m ignoring it, until it taps my on my shoulder....if I don’t poke around with it, it will leave me alone..so, do my job the best I can

Same. It’s obvious that the focus is away from telephonic so I have also scaled back in anticipation so when I am layed off it is not catastrophic. The only good thing about this job is the work at home and right now my family needs that so I will stay. When I do leave for another position in another company I will be making more than what Humana pays me. Especially if Humana is not going to give us a raise again this year. The bonus did not increase my hourly rate and did not help increase Humanas contribution to my 401(k) .
