Reliable source has told me that a announcement on DSD will be made on July 9th. DSD will seize to exist by September 8th.

Here is the thing I dont care if we go warehouse, if we get a deal similar to kebler I get almost a year off if we get nothing I collect my 6 months of unemployment and find another job no big deal to me

No announcement in July. Dirk's vision to be revealed in September. My guess is a Q1 2019 exit. I don't see us exiting this year.
I don't see the cord ripped from the wall. More likely a gradual draw down. Could very well start this fall and finish shortly after the new year. Either way, would it change your life if it was sept. 2018 or feb 2019?

It wont be till at least next year 2019. We are not close to a exit yet and Kroger has not even mentioned in our region going to CAO or Meijer which is a big account of ours here.

Went shopping early sunday morning and noticed a huge keebler end cap and several other displays scattered around. We had a tiny one on the side of it. Like the banker said, keebler is doing better than they thought.

I had 3 stores this weekend that have not had chips deluxe, Vienna fingers, or the size of reg cheeze it's that's on sale in stock since Friday and this is a normal thing in my area lately unless in comes in on a shipper the stores can't get the product from the warehouses, seems to be working great for them
The Kroger/Walmart warehouse thing might work right now where you have stores that are the size of warehouses and they are like your only choice of stores. I think with other areas saying there Krogers have not gone CAO yet I could see possibly a feild test this year in your area but I dont see a full roll out this year. If we are going warehouse everywhere why wouldn't all Krogers be CAO by now?
My argument is not if we are going warehouse its timing I think 2019 the earliest Kebler pulled out to fast and hard and are suffering sales in areas. I feel we will be slow and painful with layoffs every couple of months
Tates contract with master distributor runs to 2020. This contract comes with the purchase. Unless Nabisco buys it out you will not see tates on trucks in sept. Since DSD will most likely end they will keep it where it is.

DSD is dead! If you don't realize that by now I feel sorry for you! CAO, pack size changes. NA numbers have been declining for years now! Tate's will not save us. Store's want control. Cut out the middle man. Look how well it's going for the elves. Sales are up and they have more displays now then when they were DSD.

Our region has not said any thing about kroger yet......my DM said kroger was not going that way last he heard only Walmart. We would have heard something by now if kroger was going that path
DSD sales won’t make much money if it’s going to be controlled by CAO so therefore it will be to expensive to keep think about and stop being dumb. Walmart will only allow you to sale so much some people are very ignorant. If Kroger is going to CAO also how can DSD be justified it’s all about strong sales so no matter what the DM say it’s up to the 2 biggest retails stores in NA.

DSD will be around for awhile! We make too much money to cut the cord like Keebler did. I just received my 2019 scan book so we're not going away anytime soon.
According to Keebler reps, not a chance they are getting back into dsd! Things are working well and stick price, well you can see for yourself! Would make no sense other than to give a false sense of security that jobs are safe at Mondelez! We know better!
