Verizon's future plans? Easy:
1) Stay ahead of debt payments which will be an uphill battle against rising interest rates and annual increases in the already unsustainable dividend payments.
2) Divest or sell of sideline since they can't break the union.
3) Increase passive revenue through mobile advertising which will fail. Oath anyone?
4) Outsource or eliminate underperforming segments of the business (i.e. retail, b2b and telematics).
5) Distract share holders with 5g long enough to allow the c suite to depart the sinking ship.
Thats it for now. Nothing good ahead for Verlieson. Chickens are home. Time to roost.
Screw 5G. If it isn't 6G, the kids have already moved on.
Yeah i dont think vz will do anything,they always fail at whatever they do..and they fail with arrogance,that the funny part
Once VZ figures out the average person does not care about 5g for the added cost and limited coverage it will turn out to be another VZ boondoggle. If it is not available everywhere, and I mean everywhere it will fail miserably as most of the VZ plans have done over the last 5 years. Remember LTE and VoLTE that still is not available everywhere, How are those VoLTE hard hand offs working? Don't bet the ranch on 5g just because VZ is.
are you asking as an employee of VZW or a competitor? either way you're not gonna get a good answer here. BAU in non fios and non 5g areas. Why would you think anything differently?
5g will be deployed in such small areas and strictly for d*ck swinging and press release purposes and not mass coverage.
