Counterfeit books and the sears idiots see no evil, hear no evil... Just ship that stuff to the store, somebody will buy it, we sell books, right? You small minded book people just don’t understand retail. Meanwhile the evil hag running the tower is sharpening RE’s pencil with the next layoff and spending millions with mini cio and the poo army on technology never to be delivered with software never to be licensed. Ah those were the days my friend...

What killed Follett was replacing the Follett values with the only value they care about: Shareholder Value.

The lack of quality management is what has killed follett. When management decides to abuse long tenured team members out of the company (avoiding any severance responsibility to the very people who've worked hard for the company the longest), you've lost your way. follett lost its way. The time to leave was 4 years ago. If you've stayed and had your benefits cut, seen your colleagues driven out, seen the company struggle to find its customer, it's past time you go, too. Your expiration date is coming. Only follett knows when that date is.

What choice is there. Without Kiva you are losing any type of efficiency/automation that was in place. When you got rid of dalpe and replaced with thompson that was the final nail in the coffin of wholesale. Ok, maybe the final nail is the publisher suing Follett/adc and destroying the used market.
