Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Nike Hotline

Got this from @T02iC0P-enim - what are your thoughts?

The Hotline is useless. They only collect information and route you to a team at Nike who will treat you with disrespect unless you are management. HR/Er at NIKE is dishonest and disrespectful, their purpose is to protect management. ER folks are bullies themselves who use scare tactics to make you say what they want to hear.

Hotline is garbage. ER is garbage they will not help you. Last guy that went to hotline was frozen in carbonite. One more thing - don’t forgot our new HR overlord was one of the top lieutenants to thr awful guy before her. She never spoke up. She’s in charge now. More of the same. Keep filling out the million dollar survey monkey.

Sounds about right. Now that the camera's have gone away and the news cycle is on to something new.

Nothing will change.

It's all about waiting until the camera's go away...then carry on as biz usual.

Farce.

Nike will probably find a reason to fire anyone who complains. The moment you bring a problem to management is the moment you become the problem.

I'm currently an ETW, being bullied by a black badge and at least I know I can get a job somewhere else within a month making the same, if not more because my skills are in demand. This person is a known problem. I did let my manager know, they have done nothing as far as I can see. Now, there coukd be movements behind the scenes, but this person seems emboldened. I only complained because I knew that I could walk away If I need to. If the bullying continues they can just keep hemmoraging cash by shuffling in new hires while I get a nicer job that actually values me. And I'll take all that SME with me.

No. HR at most (all) companies exists to protect the employer not employee.

People that went to HR last year got canned.

Wouldn’t that being suicide for Nike as a company to do something like that? Especially if that got out? Doesn’t make any sense to me... just my two cents.
