Usually first thing in the morning in my experience. People like to get bad news over and done with. Not a picnic for most managers. While it is not family (who gets rid of their family like this), these are often your friends.
Even if it's not happening to you, doesn't mean it's not happening elsewhere. You'll hear about it soon enough
It all depends. When it happened last week, it started as soon as the stores opened. Management is aware of this sight and now they’re trying to catch everyone off guard. So it can happen at anytime.
The two times I saw it in retail, they were at 11.
