It is true. Layoffs July 1st. I've been in meetings in Plano, Tx. IT jobs going to Mexico and India. TATA taking over. Also, if you are a contractor and not re-badge to TATA, will be let go. We are falsely training people that will be gone in 6 weeks. It is hard to keep your mouth shut.. I feel sorry for them. They think they are starting a career.

Here in Plano a few contractors have been re-badged to TATA. Cognizant terminations starting Friday 06/15 with 2 week notice. Pepsico (BIS) employees applying for jobs at Frito. Everybody trying to jump ship. Each man for themselves. We believe our group has about 6 months left, then it is on to the next IT department. It does not pay to be in IT at Pepsico!!!!Hopefully some of the these Directors will have their asses gone.
Sevice desk is for sure moving to Mexico. Anyone left in Sustain will be gone in a year.

Some recruiters called me and tried to place me back as contractor of TCS. I told them NO even if I sleeped on street! So it may not be July 1st, but it’s coming around that time.

Not sure this makes sense. Can you clarify? We already utilize offshore IT teams and I understood we were changing vendors. What pepsico EMPLOYEE jobs are going to mexico and/or india?
