Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

HR implosion?

Several leaders resigned. One gave 24 your notice. What makes the organization world class? I hear the words but never see the results but unhappy employees scared for their jobs.

HR will ALWAYS run PepsiCo

It should be HR to be fixed.. they are a bunch of clueless employees. They cannot even face the person whom they terminated. If you get to talk to them.. you'll realize that it is better to leave than to deal with them again.

HR is a joke...they help managers with "fake speak up" calls to put employees on PIP. it helps when they want to fire people. The rule of them is to come to HQ, help mangers set up a few people for upcoming layoffs and then they get that promotion or move they wanted. HR are the extortionists for weak managers!

Ask hr to help you or go to speak in confidence it goes right back to your manager...they DO NOT CARE ANOUT EMPLOYEES.

PepsiCo HR is leadership straight out of a manual or technical guide. No originality and an extreme concentration of protecting the weak

HR at PepsiCo is the best - if you don’t believe me just ask them for yourself!

To me, it never made sense that field HR reported to HQ vs reporting up the same org structure as the other leadership teams in the field. Plus, I never saw anything that HR did that helped drive the business. What do you want to bet those stupid and worthless Org Health surveys have stopped?

30yrs with FLNA and retired.....

The disconnect between corporate HR and field operations is unbelievable. I’ve yet to meet an PepsiCo HR professional who understands or has worked in operations.

Fixing the company starts with fixing HR. PEP HR needs to be simplified and fixed this is key.
