I received a meeting invite for tomorrow but it’s with another manager not the one I report to. Trying not to read into it too much but figure it’s bad news and my real manager doesn’t want to deliver the bad news. Of course they are saying they are dividing and conquering but I don’t believe it. Anyone else have this?

I think if it was bad news then your reporting manager would be giving it to you. With leadership, if they didn’t get an assignment or offer it was the direct leadership along with HR. I feel like another manager giving you the news means yours is very easy. And the numbers of people without an assignment or offer are WAY down due to so many people posting. Thinking good thoughts for you.
I know this happened in Wave 1 and it didn't necessarily indicate bad news. They truly were dividing and conquering so I would try not to stress too much until you get your news.
I wouldn't read anything into it, and I would take anything anyone says on this board with a very small grain of salt.
Good luck doesn't sound to promising.
