Anyone have info on the TMs in claims that just got demoted to specialists? Is this real or fake news?

“they are not happy at all”

Welcome to the party. Where have y’all been? Time to bend over and take it like the rest of us.

I some of them are the TMs that forced the koolaid down everyone's throats. Asking their direct reports to fudge the barometer and avoid any kind of negative feedback to send up the chain. TM, SM, CM...all of these roles require you to be a "company man", and the highest levels do not accept negative feedback or any realistic description of how things really are. The "baby" is really ugly, but nobody dares to tell the "parents". Look at where this led!

38 Express TM's were told that they are being demoted to RA-3's to "help with the workload" for an indeterminate amount of time....THIS IS TRUE, we heard about the TM's in our office yesterday, they are not happy at all. This is what cracks me up....indeterminate amount of time.....if I was them I would read this as FOREVER. Also I wonder will they be held to the metrics ?

AND we also know that all the CS TM's in our office are required to work claims, take recorded statements and all that jazz, so in a way I guess they were demoted also.

It is not fake news. I know of a former SM now working as a CS in auto- too young to retire, but too old to have kept his job. He’s not the only one.

@1ypi, My apologies. I should have added that the Express TM's are being "temporarily" assigned to auto property complex. Also, since when did not knowing how to do the work make a single bit of difference? I personally know numerous people from Fire Co that were reassigned to Auto. Of which the vast majority (in excess of 90%) have left the company.

RA3? There aren't even any RA3 Claim Specialists in Property or Express, and a lot of the TMs probably do not even know how to do the work yet. What a joke.

Leadership in many areas are being selected to get jobs that analysts or claim reps were determined not to deserve. In L&D after first not being selected for leadership jobs, these same leaders interviewed against analysts who had not originally been selected for their jobs and who were allowed to compete. Many leaders were selected, no analysts were selected. Seems like leadership was protecting their own, especially when you compare the competencies of those selected against many who weren't.

This is happening across the company. There are examples in every department. As we shrink, there are fewer jobs and employees are trying to hold on to their employment. VPs becoming Department Heads, Department Heads becoming line level management or line level employees. etc. Expect more of this as the company continues to shrink.

Some proximity TMs were not offered TM jobs. Some were offered claim specialist jobs or no jobs at all. This is not fake news.
