Moral is extremely low in Jersey City and the senior director has been completely invisible. On a staff of 32, 4 people have already left since April and several more are about to leave. Senior leadership gave up on the site since they don’t want to deal with the union. The HR rep has had numerous instances of poor behavior, televising confidential information, gossip and talking about getting a job with Fresh Direct yet she has little to no accountability. They promote a young guy to director after cleaning up some necessary issues only to lay him off a year later so a 60+ year old can collect a max B1 salary. The 60+ year old then talks about retiring in two years at the site staff meeting. He has no respect other than the low performing managers who are hanging on by the skin of their teeth. Things are bad and about to get much worse when the rest of the good leaders leave ( enjoy your summer).

They closing it...any location not tended to will be closed...save money on leasing and get money from selling. Watch if real estate team comes for a visit...it's all mapped out.

FLHQ was also responsible, the unnecessary and excessive traveling that went on
There for years was unreal. People really abused the hell out of it and dreamed up
All sorts of BS reasons to travel, one of the primary reasons was to build up their American Airlines mileage balance for their personal benefit.
Warehousing team is one of the main reasons for smart spend. There’s no need to order multiple $200+ bottles of wine on the company’s dime.
That group is notorious for being unwilling to change. Tired ideas and methods. They purposely built no bench strength so they can hang on forever.
