To the best of my knowledge the European model of corporate responsibility takes into account all stakeholders (i.e., management, workers, customers, stockholders) whereas, it seems, the American model too often makes all the others play 2nd fiddle to the stockholder.

There is no moral compass, there is only profits. When you look at the most active companies on this website, they are ones that do not let emotions about their employees get in the way of making more money or at least losing less. Ever wonder if it would be a good investment strategy to invest in the companies most active on this site.
It’s like the pod people, they won’t stop until every last American is replaced by H1B. They are going to body snatch you, your life, and your society.
In the corporate world at large, I'm concerned that "Fiduciary Responsibility" is becoming cover for a "by-all-means-necessary" mentality, an excuse and a means of justifying in one's mind the dispensing with of morality.
One must retain their morale compass.

Fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders, not the employees or the customers.
As long as it increases EBITDA it does not actually matter.
