I work in Schdy and every day rumors of layoffs, rumors of turning into a service shop. The job security in Schenectady is unknown! So why stay? Why work hard for a company who’s newer managers treat every union member like we do not know our jobs. Management writes people up at will. More the ones who don’t kiss their butt like we owe them something. They are the ones who ruined the business! It’s even more of a shame to see the union sit back and hand everything over to the company. The union is gone in Schenectady! People are quitting left and right over the fact that there is NO job security and the union fails to notify its members of important information. So work hard, kiss butt for what to be laid off over corporate greed! What is the meeting suppose to be about? Layoffs? Plant closing like Salem? By June of 2019 there will be 400-500 union workers left! No career at GE anymore.

Tell me how you layoff is working out next week! If you make the cut tell me how your healthcare plan and pension is working out? You will probably be at Walmart or Burger King back where you came from making $11 bucks an hour. Thinking GE is a Great Company it use to be.

I Should of Known That No Pension, $10+ Less and Hour, and 2 Going on 3 Layoffs Later That GE Is Another Fly By Night Second Class Job! “It Just A Job Not A Career!” Words From Our Business Agent At The Local 301!
