Do you think accounting will get cut completely?

Maybe, it would be difficult to know if anyone is stealing, especially managment. Its nice to have an honest, trustworthy person undergoing observation of the cash flow. There are ways in which one can easily steal, I’ve accidentally discovered a few in the SMART system. It seems like an overall better idea to keep accounting, more accountability.
They don’t research now so basically the managers could do it, they like setting in in offices anyway.
At one time there was rumor of combining accounting office, receiving office, and PTC. One "office" position. Thinking that didn't go anywhere.
It’s very possible. The managers would have to take care of the cash recycling machine and do the deposits and researching of shortages/corrections unless all shortages will be considered more shrink to the company and not relevant.
Absolutely. But I bet they will make sure it's running smoothly first. They don't want people to be able to cheat the system and pocket anything. So when? That's anyone's guess.
