Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Welcome to the STATE FARM FACTORY! The Unprofessional Workplace!

There is no culture! Robots and time takers! Thats the new atmosphere! when did State Farm become a factory. People dressed unprofessionally, time coocks on the wall, no education requirements. I remember when it was HARD TO GET INTO STATE FARM!!! No we pay people to go on Facebook sites and blast out, “Hey State Farm is hiring, just hit me up and I will send in a referral to put you on the top of the list!” What next.....troll the unemployment line? Oh wait its our former employees on the line! I understand the need for change and to bring the cost down but doesnt any see what that is doing to the reputation of the company, the lack of quality it provides? IT’S JUST SAD!

Friend had a claim the other day. Said it was obvious that the rep on the phone knew nothing and was gollowing a script and prompts.

True. It used to be hard to get in...now they dont care. Saw a major shift in quality of hires, about three or so years ago & it has continued. It's almost embarrasing.

There is no need for intelligence or experience. Remember the SCP's took care of that!

Clearly not the same company. Losing customers, money, and experienced employees is an interesting model.

Those trolls if they are employees will get to experience just how crappy things really are now.

Enjoy s---ers.

Wrong bro, his premise was hardly cogent or even slightly sound.

When you don’t have anything intelligent to say you pick on someone’s spelling and punctuation
