So I got coached for attendance for the last 6 months. But here's the thing I never knew I was even at 3.... I got called to office and they said I was being coached..... I thought they had to have a discussion with you before they coached for attendance

There is no more coaching for attendance. You get your 5 points and you are done. You can keep track of your own and know where you are at. 5 and out I was told.
Coming to work your see other doing their work in area. You start picking up trash the store. And other person just pretending their sweeps doing their job nothing to be done.
These people to people it's always been pretending doing no work but they're good to go blame others because they're mad or don't want to do the work. They don't like anybody telling me what to do unless it's a manager , manager cover. Because there's their favorites what kind of job is this you can't move up at all because of these two people don't do anything in maintenance. Pass two years this person don't pick up the trash and clean up the restroom and others duty in the store. Two people who they don't get coaching because they are favors of the managers of the store. I just staying way from them . They don't want to work the work schedule to close. They just want to come in the morning 5-130 Saturday and Sunday only. They're work schedule to close 12 to 9 doing the week too. Going on for 2 years . I wish can talk to a true a true manager it would take care of this problem before they end up losing a good hard working employee and more employees.

Absence can be caused by being late. Read the attendance policy
for your state. There is a 9 minute
window in my state. If you are scheduled for 7am and clock in
at 7:10 or later, you are late.
3 lateness equal one absence.

The coaching is technically the discussion.
You are wrong you do have to discuss with the associate if he/she misses again it will be a coaching but its after there 4th call in not there 3rd. Yes its a shame some of these people are so proud they work for WalMart its there best life achievement.

Do you want people to feel sorry for you? You are the "kind" that need to be let go. It's a rolling 6 mo period so you probably skated by before and were too dumb to know it. Do your club a favor and find a new job.

There is nothing in the policy of a discussion at 3. The mgr should have the common curiosity to warn you, but they don't have to. Your accountable for your attendance there for you should keep track not your mgr. 4 absences is automatically a coaching per policy.
