Way to spend policyholder dollars, maybe we should leak this to the public how much relocation dollars we spend unnecessarily. Why not keep him in A HUB and not incur cost. Once in winter haven he will not be in the office anyhow. This is why less then 20% of SF employees have SF insurance due to bad management of our expenses.

As a 28 yeah employee, I know exactly what's going on. My last day will be this July 31. I'll am being forced to take early retirement. I'll have no medical, dental or vision benefits and my monthly pension check will be less than my nephew makes a month washing dishes at Pizza Hut. Because of this, 12 family members and friends have DROPPED this insurance and I think it's hilarious !!!!!! They treat the employees like crap. Even telling one person with a medical condition that they were going to the bathroom too much. They give you " points" for being late or having to call out sick for an emergency no matter what the excuse AND this just started happening within the last 3 years or so. I myself was told I could not leave twice for a doctor's appointment !!!!! I can't wait to leave this sh-- stain company.

Employees dropping SF as their insurance carrier will have zero impact on pensions, or really on anything else except for the premium cost and peace of mind of the people dropping coverage. State Farm has millions of policies. I mean, are you truly this stupid? Their place in the market is determined by lots of other factors -- like their ability to provide decent service, which has tanked in recent years.
Plus, State Farm cannot just "alter pensions." It can alter pensions going forward, but anything already earned is earned and cannot be adjusted accept via very special extenuating circumstances.
So you might want to watch who you're calling a moron.
If you are in claims and proud to not have insurance with state farm then you are part of the problem. I always talk positive to our ph about claims employees and if our services are bad then fix the problem.

They pay relocation benifits for SF execs to move across town. Then pay Ad Services folks to hook up internet and electronics in their homes
SF services are bad because the employees/associates are not being treated like people. They are being treated like machines. Time this, jump thru that, metrics, if the management treated the employees like people and truly CARED then the employees will treat customers right. It's basic management 101. Guess you really don't need common sense to be in management.
The prevalence of ignorance is in your post. SF does not fund pension payments from current profits/losses. The pension plan is an annuity based investment portfolio. So, leaving SF as a customer has no bearing on future pension payments.

Whoever said 89.27% of State Farm Employees have State Farm Insurance - what is your position with the company and where did you get your information? as that is stating 89.27% of the people are stupid! Watch and see how many people, along with their family, friends, relatives, acquaintances all drop State Farm based on word of mouth.
