I'm a Receiving Clerk and have a quick question for other clerks. Do any of you have PTO accrued for July 6th? I have checked with 3 other associates in my club and no one else does. I'm wondering if that will be our last day. Only serious replies, I really do not want hear dumb comments.

June 8th is sixty days away from this next Monday. Wal-Mart looks to cut and most likely will include Sam’s in the shuffle. Someone got this info days ago.
What do you mean by "accounting cut"
No but apparently Wal-Mart has an accounting cut coming maybe tomorrow. No info on Sam’s but it makes sense for something to happen at the same time, possibly clerk.
Has anybody been told anything about their new job responsibilities since receiving went paperless yesterday

What are you looking at that you see this? In the screen like if you were requesting a day off?
I think it's a mistake or a glitch.
Nope, no time requested for that day. It just showes accrued time to be added to my PTO on July 6th. It's weird, I know. That's why I was asking other clerks.
You will not have an accurate idea
of your PTO accrual to July.
You can find your accrual rate on the Wire >PTO toolkit. Accrual rates varies by length of service and
status. ( ft or pt). Every hour you work , you earn PTO. It is all on the Wire.
Did you put in for PTO that day?
I tend to worry about things way ahead of time. In so doing I often worry about things that never happen. I too would be curious ( worried ) if something seemed out of place on my PTO usage screen. BUT I would likely be worrying for nothing.
Let's face it like several here have said , what is going to happen is going to happen. Not a very comforting thought but one that reminds us that our worrying is not going to change a thing.
Try to enjoy the people around you if you can. Pay no attention to the ones who resist being enjoyed.
I understand what your saying, but I do have Accrued hours showing on July 6th. I was just curious. It could be just a mistake, that's why I was reaching out to other clerks to see if they were showing the same thing.
It will only show future dates if you requested time off. It doesnt show future hours that accrue?
I would read much into it. I’m fairly certain tomorrow is just another day.
That's what i was thinking when I saw the Accrued hours. But it shows time for me and not the other three associates (that work in different areas) that I asked.
Maybe I'm dumb, but how do we know what we are accruing 3 months from now, let alone in a week?
