We recently received info/stats that the snp department is doing acceptionally well with metrics and quality. As previously stated with going hourly, upper mgmt said they would look at metrics again once they see how hourly goes. My concern is; is everyone taking breaks? Are a lot taking OT hours? Management sees we are doing wel numbers/quality wise, they may not reduce metrics. I am calling for everyone to take breaks and try to stay at 8 hours so management can obtain more accurate statistics and finally see that the requirement is too high. Have a good and restful weekend, everyone.

You need to take you 2 15 min breaks and your 30 min lunches. If you don’t you are working off the clock. They need to see that the metrics cannot be at 5 if we take our breaks. Your hurting yourself and all of us. By not giving a real picture of what is really happening. Keep track of your breaks and lunch if questioned. You can only do what you can do in 8 hours since they don’t want us to work OT
I work in SNP. I struggle to get contacts since going hourly. I do not take my vessels our lunch and rarely wellness, unless there is an appointment. We had three separate one hour meetings last week. Two were in the same day. I rush members to get through the call.... that's not quality and not what I want for them. But I also don't want to be wrote up. Our COM pushes, shoveds and micromanages
to the edge of intimidation. It has to get better soon.
yeah my last coach said she did not get bonuses but yet told someone else she remodeled her kitchen with her last bonus.
I agree it’s so hard to get 5 successful contacts especially when there are meetings. So many UTC’s that don’t even seem to count and take time to do. Feel like I am constantly rushing members to answer so many survey questions that I feel rude. I would never get through the post discharges if I don’t rush them!! Not a good feeling So much pressure. Don’t think many are taking breaks. I am but feel like many are not which messes up metric expectations.
I sure don't, particularly on days when we have meetings. For the associates in SNP who routinely meet metrics and are taking breaks, wellness, lunch etc. Would you please share some of your practices? I sincerely would like to know. How many SNP support contacts do make each day that don't require as much documentation?
Do you believe 5 a day is a reasonable expectation? Do you meet 5 a day, everyday?
I don't think hourly has anything to do with how well we're doing now. We've improved on everything over time. Low rosters are way too high though. I'm told leadership is working on that it just isn't happening fast enough.
What about the fact that some snp teams are medium members, some are low, and some are AD teams. All operate differently. Why are metrics compared to each type of team? Of course AD will be more "productive" they have a 0 chance of getting utcs. And medium members expect and know the cm thats calling every 3 months compared to a possible new cm/ every 6 months on the low members. The results of that data is skewed. Snp didnt just magically start doing "acceptionally" well because of hourly. Something is skewing these results.
If you are helping a member and get caught working OT on a Friday afternoon you shouldn't cut the call short. That member deserves your time and attention. Coaches are asking you to let them know. I feel that my coach knows me well enough to know that I am putting my member first.
@Sroef0x-oxt - I don't think people are working off the clock like you say, it's grounds for termination if you do. I take lunch and my breaks everyday and I also use my wellness time most every week. I also start at 8am sharp and work a full 8 hours. I've needed 15-20 minutes OT a couple of times but only because I needed to finish up with a member who needed meds or a place to stay so he didn't have to sleep in his car another night. Let's be real here, some folks aren't cut out for this job. If you're not super organized and cannot adapt to frequent change this is not the job for you. I'm sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings but that is the truth. And who cares if the coaches and COM's get a bonus or not? They have a job to do same as us and they also have a boss they must answer to. And by the way, we are ALL going to be eligible for incentive pay so please lighten up and stop calling people stupid or ignorant.
I wish we got bonuses but most of us barely make what the associates do
I’m a former coach. We DO NOT get bonuses for production
for as long as i have been here people CLAIM they take breaks/lunch etc and they are not. They are working "their personal time" to maintain being "the best of the best" or "top dog" on their team.
I can tell you from experience of over 10 yrs and I have my friends in alot of other companies. Do not let the coaches/COM's etc tell you they are pushing teams to be the leader for nothing. They get incentives/bonuses but are not allowed to discuss or it is grounds for termination. Come on people are you that stupid to believe they do not get bonus/incentive to push their teams to the brink of insanity. The sad part is the people who work extra time off the clock and if you believe the company saying "we dont want you to do that, take your breaks and lunches" you are really ignorant. They HAVE to say that legally...but turn blind eye when surprise surprise your computer is on more then 40 hrs..hmmm..wonder why??
Let me tell you they can monitor every breath you take when they WANT to be turn blind eye to other things. This company is shady and not worth being a part of therefore I am diligently looking else where, so get out while you still have time to save face and not be associated with a company like HUMANA
