I never made it past the recorded interview but I'm not surprised. I've never done one of those before. It's really awkward to answer recorded questions on the phone and pretend like you're talking to a live person. Maybe practice makes perfect. We'll see.

I applied for a few roles and either no interview or just one and done. I think 2nd round is a good sign! Good luck OP! I have wondered about the same thing. Anyone else have input on this?

If you were invited to a 2nd interview that's obviously a good sign. Try preparing for that interview and research that area thoroughly before hand, it will show you are truly interested and not just applying for everything under the sun hoping something will stick.
