That article is a joke. Whoever wrote that should be tarred and feathered.
"employees have access to an "as-needed" sick-time policy"
I think they meant vacation policy -- and what this really means is that Oracle did away with the vacation "bank". That isn't a benefit to employees at all as studies show that most won't take their full allotment of vacation. What it really is all about is Oracle taking the liability off their books (improving the overall financials several quarters ago) and not having to pay for vacation owed when they layoff workers (improving financials through this year).
IBM -- another dinosaur that is in a slow death spiral -- is on this list too, so take it all with a grain of salt.
Fake news
I would agree that 25 years plus ago, but no more for a long time. That article as good as Oracle cloud.
@SiBGmNV-toa get a life will ya ?
The fact is you WISH you still worked at Oracle. If you didn't you would have moved on with your life.
Hard to tell how they came up with this. It could just be more people are networking on LinkedIn from Oracle or with people from Oracle? Seems like something like that could just be bumped up with layoffs going on. I don't see how linkedin can make a statement about this with the data it would have.
paid advertisement...what a crap..
