|Let the talented people who are with the company for 25+ years do their work.

Yes, let's reward them by reducing their comp for selling licenses. What do they get now? 75% of on-prem license credit?

If you want license sales to drop, this is how you drop license sales.

The number of licenses not important in the grand scheme of things. Please stop the negativity, if you don't like you leave. Let the talented people who are with the company for 25+ years do their work. Please leave so we can't focus, this way we can bring more talent to the business.

Wrong. 1% market share growing at 32% when everyone else is growing at higher rates means .7% market share.

Crazy listening to the earnings call. 3 stooges spending 80% of the time explaining licensing and accounting policy and almost no time on anything meaningful.

Google and Microsoft are also-rans there to make up the numbers.

Yeah, right. Microsoft being #2 and Google being #3 behind AWS.

Speaking of also-rans: where's Oracle Cloud's market share? Lumped together with "Others"?

Oracle Cloud doesn't even get its own market share percentage because Oracle Cloud's market share is so small, it can't be calculated.

Oracle Cloud grew 32%? When you have 1% market share - and I'm being generous here - 32% growth means Oracle Cloud has 1.32% market share. Good luck with that.

Sinking ship in slow motion. Fun to watch.

Oracle's Cloud business is built for customers who have money. AWS is not in the same market as the Oracle Cloud is being targeted at. Google and Microsoft are also-rans there to make up the numbers.

Wheels coming off the oracle bus, that’s what happens when you have crappy cloud products and have newbies try to sell them. It’s only gonna to get worse from here! The 3 stooges are such bloody geniuses!
