Once they finalize staffing for the spinoffs the axes will be out and swinging. TS cuts should be first, then Homes, then probably July to September all the "stranded costs" in mother Honeywell will be cut
Darius made it clear in both 2017 earnings call, the Investors conference in February- there will be no stranded costs
IT is going to implement the hub strategy soon. All VPs and directors will need to relocate to Morris Plains or Atlanta. It may be only for USA since we don't have the protections other countries have
Should be announced soon
Move or you loose your job
March 15 Totals I heard across all SAP teams that had people from all SBGs
About 30 people in EMEA
About 25 people in USA and Canada. USA people's last day will be March 30 so zero knowledge transfer
Haven't heard any other teams impacted yet, just those under SAP VP TG the short one
I hope that any RIFs are targeted at the excess numbers of leadership positions in IT rather than the workers. Each IT group has too many managers and directors and not enough people who actually do the actual work.
Tempe peeps getting whacked today march 15, no details
25 of us in the labs in Morristown, NJ USA are being let go by the end of 2018. "closing the building".
Only heard of a few people in LB team that were at remote sites. And he 30 people in EMEA SAP under TG whose end dates are still being determined
And then in UK the site support IT people under The other TG are being exported to a supplier and some will be RIFs like in USA like last year. Other countries to follow soon
And last under MP the new contract with Capg will drive reductions "thru synergies and streamlining "
Overall targets are 10-20% on top of staff going to spinoffs this year
Havent heard specifics but hear they are happening soon. I have also heard there's a lot of very unhappy folks very high up and the 4 horsemen of stupidity (MP, TG, TG, LB) are at risk....
