Let's see. Mattel has been in the crapper for nearly four years. About when RD came on board. Coincidence? Nah. Stock was over $40. Since then, it's been wave after wave of layoffs. Good people were let go in desperation. Lots of experience just gone. Have things improved? Nah. Everythings worse. The only constant is RD. Clearly the people flushed weren't the problem, RD is! I say hire all those good people back to right this ship, and send RD packing. His salary and bonus will pay for all those people and more. Meanwhile, the BoD and M-Go get a salary of $1 a year until we get to cash flow positive. What? They don't want to risk it? Well if they don't believe they can do it, why should we? Why should shareholders? Stop your silly and hollow promises, Sr. Management. Put up or shut up and get out!

WOW! Just looked! Stock still sinking even though the market is up .... it's down to $13.85 now.... not far at all from the 10 year LOW. Buckle up and hang on to your jobs...... it's going to get bad. How can it not? TRU is dead. Upper Management is bleeding the company dry and the rest have blinders on. You have no experience left to get you out of this. So sorry.... Hasbro will have you for a song.... if they still want this mismanaged abortion....
I like your idea! Hell, the stock price hit $14.10 yesterday - not far from the 10 year low! I still say the El Segundo expense should be re-thought. Yeah, ya'll love to live but the beaches but for the sake of a company that can't make a dime to save it's life, it's time to quit all this California Dreamin'. Can you imagine the savings of moving "headquarters" to the East Aurora campus and scraping off all that pompous dead weight?
