Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Well said it’s all about shrink, get real scan n go, self check, no check receipts, but wait it must be the cashiers not scanning merchandise lmao. To control shrink by our cashiers we’re going to 2 people per register. Take everything out of basket because cashiers are stupid and miss items. The members are special scan everything in cart and scan half because you guessed it we don’t check receipts at the door lmao. Then there was scan n go fill your cart scan the least expensive and the scan and let you go free wow this is easy, I’m calling all my friends and family, we’re a big fat joke Sams Club give yourself a high 5.

Be glad you were forced out now. Gissel is running Sam's into the ground and soon we will all he jobless. No detail receiving, no checking prices, no checking loads from our third party warehouse, no audit team, partial audits now, more self checks outs, scan and go (scan a few items steal others) no requiring memberships, no checking receipts...and now shrink is a big topic? Come on now! You take away EVERY key contorl and dont expect shrink to sky rocket? She is mental. So be glad you are now with a company who has some common sense and cares about employees and doesnt want your city to shop for free !!!!

Come on....some of you act like every club manager &/or every assistant manager are terrible people. Knock it off. Not all club managers or assistants threaten people , lie or cheat. They get beat up from members, hourly associates & market managers/VP’s. You guys get upset when you are asked to do what you are supposed to do. If you don’t like Sam’s then leave. Otherwise work on making it a better place to work instaead of complaining.

managers are NOT superior ! but........almost all of them think they are !!!! lie and cheat on a whim.....then get all weepy eyed when their boss treats them the way they do us...............

Managers are superior to others beneath them, the only time the feel as we do is when the tables are turned on them. Don’t get me wrong there are good ones out there, but mostly not.

managers who do not at some point cross over to the associate abusing variety are extremely rare,,,,,,,,,,,,,

yay...club managers boo hooing together.............I just don't get it...I treat the associates like owl p--p ...not because I want too mind you but because I have too to get them to do the company thing...but now the company treated me me like owl p--p....it's just not fair.....in the olden days we could treat the associates like owl p--p and the company thought we were great for doing it..heck they even helped us hide our poor treatment of the hourlies and took our side on everything..but now they are treating us like we treated the hourlies....I don't understand and it's not fair....am I right? high fives all around GM's...........

We are each one...what this company was made of. Always have been...always will be. It was our family..good work. We have made it..Stand proud

I also miss the other associates and managers. I worked for 26. I have started a new job in retail grocery as a manager. Its hard to catch on to new things. I knew Sams like the back my hand. All policies and procedures. Now i'm starting all over. I understand what you are saying. I did love my old job. I will keep trying to improve my knowledge at my new company.
