You are right about adding that fine to the customers bill. AT&T is a master at cooking the books and manipulating metrics, I don't see how they could say some of these things with a straight face. Then again it is t and I can understand it.

Levy a fine and T will incorporate it in their bill. T-Mobile and Sprint need to merge immediately and have a smooth merging of operations. Sprint created a S*** show when they merged with Nextel. Good thing T-Mobile is in charge this time. It will be devastating to AT&T.

The article was in the Washington Post... That's almost as credible as AT&T saying they want to spend $85 billion dollars just to save customers money!!! And if you truly believe that, I have some oceanfront property available on the banks of the muddy Ohio River!

Let the merger go thru and hold att to that metric. Levy a nice hefty fine every year that they don't hit that savings metric. Just saying:)
