Am I the only one on planet Earth? Employees need to step away from the workforce mindset which is thinking that company's are looking out for their best interest. This company has always operated in an investors market. If this company has to layoff a few employees, reorganize every 5 minutes to stay in the brutal warfare of competition, it will. And it has no choice! The biggest mistake that Pepsico made was to build an empire on an old system of operation which cannot be gutted because investors would jump ship....its easier and more palatable to keep "patching the holes of an old garden hose" than to buy a new one. Problem is: They are just not that good at it!

It is an unfortunate truth. It’s the environment we live in. However, while we can all recognize layoffs as a fact of life, I believe it also hilites a failed strategy of PepsiCo leadership when productivity is the key driver of profitability. I have very little confidence that PepsiCo leadership is making the right decisions for the future.
Why do you keep creating a new post with this rehashed sh-- from other threads? Do you think it it makes you look smart? Are you Pepsi PR? Nobody cares.
