What's the difference between the internship vs mit

An Internship teaches you the basics for most of the hourly positions; you spend a lot of time with team leads and management. The MIT program teaches you the basics for a Management position; basically following all of the managers around and learning from them. I was both. I had a 10 week internship one summer as a college student. The club manager seemed impressed, and I was offered a MIT position after I graduated college a year later. Since I was considered external, I was supposed to be in MIT for 10 weeks, but I applied for and received a position after 4 weeks. Hope this helps!
