Bank and L&D have QTDs on 8/31. If the numbers I am hearing are correct, that is potentially 515 people walking out the door for the last time that day. I say potentially b/c some may have opted in or found another job in a different department. Still, very large number and very sad.

Leadership with a strong EQ, wouldn’t think twice about cancelling upcoming convention .
It’s disgusting, and beyond insensitive
@SU5BdgS-1qvh - don't forget about the trips agents & family get for selling their quota of life, along with the side trips for higher producers. Pretty sickening in this environment. Don't get me wrong, I do support the agents, but excessive spending by Leadership when people are losing their jobs is a very poor message to be sending.
I have heard the remodel at Corporate is to make it more hub-like. And do away with the convention already please. So much senseless spending when people are losing their jobs and who knows what is happening to the families. Horrible. How do the people in charge of this sleep at night? Ruining lives, families, futures. Makes me want to puke thinking about it all.
And how about the $$$$ remodel at the Corporate office? Would have saved more than a few jobs.
Agree that the expense of the convention is just wrong. If you are rated a 2/2 you get very little as a raise for the entire year of dedication and work for service. I will not work to the metrics which will eventually take me down because i work to give service. My TM knows it and just hasn't figured how to reprimand me because believe it or not my metrics are still good. Years of experience - fast, fast, fast at what I do. However, everyone can not do it. EIP is in the tank. There will not be a bonus - how demoralized can the claims crew get?
Note that we are cutting people/jobs but still having a national agency convention which will cost millions and millions. Here is a tip for Tipsord’s philandering a--... cut out security for your pansy a--, cut out convention, restructure agent incentives and realize building mega hubs wasn’t the answer
@SU5BdgS-zkp so what's your total number by year end? Death Spiral makes me think we are on the Death Star!
@SU5BdgS-zkp - sounds like you haven't been paying attention... You can add the Parsippany and Tacoma? office closures later this year, Bloomington will be going down a net 500 after laying off 1200 in IT and adding back some of the positions from Parsippany & Tacoma. Then add the Ad Services people and you have some real numbers. The Farm is shrinking in a rolling re-org Department by Department.
Oh, as the what the heck they are doing, I believe the phrase is Death Spiral. The company is failing due to a combination of huge losses and record numbers of customers leaving us for more than a year. Leadership has decided to make huge cuts in customer facing areas, or areas that support customer facing people. Sounds like something the Farm would think of, right?
Let me get this straight, so far from these posts I am gathering around 5k out by 8/31? What in the heck are they doing??
Don't forget Proximity QTD of 7/31 with approximately 3000 walking out for the last time. It would have been a lot higher if they had offered involuntary to everyone!
