I wonder if TM's get bonuses if they ride someone hard enough they get them to resign/quit ?
Remember that survey, we got once a month, that we suppose to complete on our how TM was doing in Express and if we were honest we got a talking to?
They were supposed to revamp them and add a comment section and then start sending them out again, so far I have not seen those come back. Oh well.....
The team barometer is a made up number anyway. I'm a proximity rep of 28 years and we have to put 4 and 5 on the ratings because we don't have 2 hours to waste every week doing an action plan. The job is almost unbearable to make people fill out a barometer so managers can say "look how well things are going and everybody loves their jobs". Just a plain waste of time.
TMs are feeling more heat now....more than they ever have and I think it's about time.
There is immense pressure coming from very high above to make all of the SF plans work. Just as you would get held accountable for not making your metrics, the TM is held accountable for their team not meeting their metrics. Doesn't mean that your TM isn't a jerk, but they are not being rewarded for being jerks. Unless, you consider possibly keeping their job to be a bonus...
I have been with sf 25 years and I am not a manager. During that time i have not had an unethical TM. I'm sure it exists but haven't had one. The front line folks are the ones that make the cogs spin. Who are you going to blame when the cheaper cogs fail...and fail...and fail. You get what you pay for.

I also wonder how the TM looks at himself/herself in the mirror? They are the most ethically corrupt people I have ever seen......they will throw you under the bus without a second thought.
