Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Someone Please Ask my Question to SM in next meeting

In next meeting Management will come and say standard statement like Cut was required and remaining people should stay focused and continue doing their best. So my question to be asked would be

What is the commitment from company that it will not layoff currently safe employees in next 6 months or so if I they stay focused and do their best?

Why are the leaders who are face of this company still safe? Are we saying that they are going to do wonders in future like in past ?

I am not sure if people who are laid off will be allowed to attend next all hands. Is it legal to stop laid off employee to attend all hands as they would be still on payroll?

OP,based on the grammar, I won't be surprised if these mistakes are intentional with the purpose of starting irrelevant and racist trolling conversations.

A lot of the content in here is a scam. Only few exceptions.

Of course they do.

With giant corporations like Q there is much more to delay with besides performance .

I am not promoting the executives.

What I'm saying is that if you are not in a executive position and you don't have the power to take decisions which involve the future of the company, you can decide to leave if it's too stressful or wait.

What do you gain for thinking day and night of what's going to happen in July?!

No executives need to take responsibility for company performance ?

Than you have two options if you kept your job:

  1. Assume the worst and plan your voluntary leave.

  2. Continue doing what you do and worry when the time comes and it's actually confirmed.

  1. The number of 1500 layoffs isn't pleasant but not as high as expected given the current situation.

  2. There are not real facts that a second layoff will come. Those e-mails are stating only that layoffs had begun last week and termination days will be effective around July. NOT that a second round will happen in July

  3. I don't see the reason to ask those questions because I will do in the present and future just like I have done in the past.

  4. I will not spend my days whining about the situation. If you are still here and survived the "storm", think about the ones that did not have that chance.

  5. "In THE future and in THE past
