The people who have to stay back and work in a nepotism infested environment, where 'kissing a--' is the talent preferred over quality work; under incompetent and ambition-less leaders? Or the folks who are getting 'paid' to leave (bumped) to escape the above mentioned? It all depends on how you look at it. Sometimes change is a good thing. Good luck to you all.

debt fueled buybacks will survive.
Some serious dead weight has been left behind and some really good workers have been axed.
For the good workers this may be planned (some functions are going away after all) but for the dead weight this is just incompetence from management.
People with decent marketable skillset who got the package are the luckiest
Unluckiest are the relatively young engineers stuck here
Lucky are the useless engineers n managers with no skill set but still get to stay
In all of these the casualty is for sure Qualcomm once a great company to work for
