We were promised there will be folks with higher titles in layoff. But they targeted engineers. Yesfolks with engineer title not even staff and Sr. Staff. Forget about directors and vps. Really big morons.

2015 layoffs story will repeat itself: layoff as much engineers and senior engineers and then realize you're screwed coz no one is actually doing the work, hire them again, repeat.
All "new" hires from the last 1 year has been laid off. The cut is deep in the lower level. Now PTE has become even more top heavy.
Not the right move for Q, laying off the engineers and saving the Sr. directors and VP’s and SVP’s. Chinese Directors and VP’s are saved , who lack in quality, leadership .
Many layoffs, but nothing helping . Needs better leadership team.
I personally know 2 Sr. Directors and 1 Director that were let go yesterday.
Depended on cost site. Some departments got director level and up to senior director cuts. Still not at the right level, the rot is at the top.

Need the directors to 'direct' the offshoring effort. They will have retention bonuses to stay around and get it done.
