Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I'm here to be honest about working at sams, So please believe me when I say there are way better jobs out there. Retail is a failing business being taken over by Amazon and online shopping. When you see someone post something like this it's because they have no idea how a store is ran. This is the big wig with no clue. I worked my way from a cafe associate to salaried and it was no picnic. Not only did I witness corruption at its finest but I was involved in corruption. Every single inventory is pencil whipped and guess what if your not liked your fired for falsifying documents, but for others it's just fine. Not only the inventory but every report that requires time to work properly. There's more money missing from the company than they know. Its only a matter of time before it catches up. As far as a place to work it s---s, your constantly under pressure and no matter what you do it isn't enough. All I did was waste time with this company. And I just want to let the associates that do read this know theres better out there. Please do your fellow associates a favor ban together and look for something better. Leave that corrupted company, life is so much better when you eliminate negative energy out of your life. What do I mean about negative energy? Im talking about the manger that will throw you under the bus so quickly your head will spin all to save their job. Your much better than Wal-Mart/Sam's club. I was the same way I thought I had a good job but I thought wrong retail is going away. Why do you think scan n go and all these services that are offered are so vital? Its cause everything is going digital. It's time to leave them devastated now that people matter. There never gonna get better it's time to download the indeed app and start looking for work. Im being completely honest when I tell you that if you've been with Sam's for a good period of time... other company's look at you with value. They know how Sam's treats their employees like sh-- so they know your hard working. Go where you gonna be appreciated. Im saying this with my head held high thank you Sam's club for doing what I was afraid of doing and making me step out of my comfort zone. My life is stress free. I'm not saying quit tomorrow but seriously start looking at options. Because it does s--- not being able to sleep wondering if you have a job or not. Sincerly a Displaced Manager.

These idiots are happy with 13/hr and a 10 cent raise every year, while there's plenty of other jobs out there that pays double that, with a lot less work and stress, and they protect the company when someone talks bad about it as if Walmart gives a crap about them haha!

So nice to hear from another moron!!/sarcasm. I am happier,less stressed,and glad that I chose to take the severance payout.

Life after Sam's Club really is great, Sam's Club just has fools like you brainwashed thinking that there are no other jobs out there, but there are plenty of jobs that pay a lot more with a lot less stress and not fearing if you're going to have a job the next day.
