Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Life After Sam’s Club!!

I just wanted to share with those out there who had been displaced. In less than 60 das with serious focus and working contacts and back channels, I secured multiple offers and accepted a position for more money, better vacation and benefit coverage with a Company who seems genuinely thrilled to have an experienced Operator runnng their business. Friendly , Respectful ownership.

Not threats from Planes are Out, who is coming or not.. just the outrageously sickening climate that is life in Sams Club.

Ladies and Gentlemen please do not fall into the spin. You are valuable, you WILL find a new opportunity !! You will be appreciated !! After being degraded , terrorized , threatened , marginalized you need to get out to see clearly!!!

This organization is truly dying , do not be misled. For yourselves, your self respect, your families , get out while you can. Do not be lured back in to Wal Mart, allow yourselves to be marginalized , accept a reduced position , another take away in pay to be abused by an organization who does not value you, does not respect you.

I have moved on so can each of you!

I cannot remember the last time I was happy to go to work!!

It is really possible!!

Just not working in the S—t S—w that has become Sam’s Club!! They are dead, and dying it’s painfully obvious! Get out and see what having respect from your employer feels like again! Those who stay will ultimately wish they had gone!!

God Bless All those displaced! May you too find your courage to leave , and find Peace!!

Look to the Future they are not it!!

I would just like too say, I enjoyed working for the Clube, I really did...I must say when other companies see my experience and see that I worked for Sam"s, they are totally in press. And they are willing to pay ,for the experience. So ladies and gentlemens, get ready too run your on store or market. Live is great.

I can comment. After my store closed ,I had no idea what to do other than look for a job. I had no idea where I would land. My life was Sam's Club. I was proud to work there. But two weeks after the closing. I was offered a better job and higher pay. More than I made after 25 years. Don' t be fooled by haters. There is life after Sam's Club. It's sad to think so many feel they can't or won't find another job.You are better than that. Don't let Sam's dictate your life anymore. Get out and live again. No more credit or plus hanging over your head. It is possible , I know first hand it is possible. Good luck to everyone. Remember to take care of yourself because no one else will. Do what is best for you and your family.
