i asked HR about this since I saw this rumor post and they said "Citrix cannot comment on any current of future mass employee actions being contemplated" then they further added "as long as people keep there heads down and do their work, they will know any reduction in force at the appropriate time".
Citrix will not be laying off any people now or in the future. The hard working employees of this great company are the engine of the success of the organization and are critical to its success. So stop saying there will be layoffs, they need us .
HR is still standing behind their statement that there is still strong denial of any June layoff. They will continue with small firings (to avoid paying severance) and micro releases (new HR word for small layoffs less than 50 people).
HR is insisting any larger actions will be contemplated for the fall.
2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 15-21 all apply to me. Should I be worried?

Citrix is at it again! I got calls from two friends that worked for Citrix. Both got axed this morning.
The method and frequency of layoffs really brings into question the value of the brand going forward. You certainly cannot trust anyone at Citrix to be there anymore. Small and stealthy layoffs in a community that is very well connected. Who does Citrix think it's fooling these days. People talk and sites like this really show how active they are in terms of layoffs.
June 12th is too soon for another round IMO.
It’s all about the stealthy layoffs now. Just look at what they did to the social media team. Laid off 4 people and didn’t say a word at the marketing all hands. ER shows a slide with his job openings and then lies when asked why he had job titles that were already filled. People in the room didn’t even know that he had laid their colleagues off.
