Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

GE is the best company to work for

I made $230k with some nice bonuses and was at work half the time. GE is the best job ever. They make THEIR GREAT products and treat their employees like GOLD and set them up to succeed in life for the employees families. Great healthcare plan too I still think the GE employees shouldn’t leave the burden on this Cadillac of healthcare on GE. I think the employee should pay more for their healthcare. I think the employees make to much money about $8 to much and don’t work hard enough. No more breaks only a 30 min lunch, no more holiday pay, no 401k contribution from GE. I think GE should have no more vacation time too. Who needs it. You want a day off take it unpaid.

That is a great American company.

So sad you only got paid 230k. Should have been atleast 500k for 10% of the time. Do not understand what they should get 1/2 hr lunch should be 0. Not only vacation is bad for employees, they should work on July 4, christmas. come on ...it is the greatest company in the world.

If ever there was proof of trolls on this site, here is a post for the record books. Anyone can say anything and make any claim online, always remember that. And don't think for one second there aren't people who get a perverse thrill in rubbing salt in the wounds of others, or HR/Management types who are infuriated by all the truth this site exposes.

They can and will post this kind of stuff in hopes of countering the backlash to their corporate narrative BS this site promotes.

Don't forget that GE has some of the brightest executives out there...not only do the mid level managers get promoted not based on s-x organs...but they don't need a excel spread sheet to tell them that the metric they made up to show their worth makes sense...lets buy the rest of Alston and continue to hire European a--holes to fly over here to visit.
