Has anyone received their severance packets yet? I can't wait to cut ties with this b---s--- Sam's club. the glory of knowing that Sam's club won't last 5 more years is the karma they deserve. It's inevitable that they fail. Underpaid overworked associates have to take direction from uniformed lazy Managers. A place where the member gets no service because the associates are too busy straightening pallets. Give me a break!! I've never not bought something because the phukin pallet wasn't straight. This is where Sam's fails. And then they don't promote from within they hire people that don't know sh--. Lol I can't till I get my severance so I can come to this site and name each 1 of you clowns. Bwahahah ha ha ha.

whoever said that you are waiting for your 25 days of pto, don't wait. You won't get it. You will get 5. That's it. great job to all of you (msyelf included) who lost days and rolled over days to this year like a moron.
I got my last pays stub, and they have taken out money out like I still work there.,bitter never I will start my new career in 2 weeks , for sure if you worked as hard as most of us ,yow will not have a problem finding work, in my interview I was told how did they let you go my respond, a computer did.
I just want my correct pay meaning they shouldn't had taken insurance, etc and they did. Over 300.00
I will be needing that back, and I haven't received any paperwork. I HAVE ADDITIONAL 48 HOURS THAT IS MINE.
2dby- you are so right!! I don't know why they all stay following the path to nowhere. I have seen many posts on here telling everyone how great life is outside the world of Walton's. Your comment is inspirational. I wish others would listen! You are 100% right! I treated my 60 days like a full time job hunting for another job also. Paid off! I got one and I'm loving it! The truth is the Company will Honor it’s commitment to those displaced. However you have to take care of yourselves. As a displaced Manager you were/ are not on vacation. Please remember that, I went to ground utilizing every connection I could. You need to talk to anyone who may offer you a connection or potentially offer you a job. It is not easy, but in under 60 days I was able to secure several interviews multiple offers, and accepted a position with much less drama and more money. A decent amount more. More to the point , no more BS unprofessional , unethical Market Teams, or Regional Teams to deal with. Feels like being reborn!! Just being out of here . If you do it right the Severance should be a bonus, best bonus of all?? You do not have to come back to work in this Cesspoole which is exactly what it is. I cannot believe the folks still in denial. It will be no different Team, not in 6 weeks!, or 6 Months !! This is who they are.... Accept it, and move on! Gods Speed to all !! Depending on your state, if you have not received your severance
pay in a timely manner, you do not
have to wait to collect unemployment. I am in New York
and our audit associates did not get their check ina timely manner. They were able to apply for unemployment without waiting the
number of weeks they were paid out. Kind of like a penalty to the company for the delay.
For me, it was exactly 42 days from the day I was gained out to receive my direct deposit because I didn’t receive my Fedex packet right away to sign and mail in.
So do we get a physical check, or direct deposit?
Not true, I got mine 3 weeks after I sent the papers back. Deposited in my checking account.

I'm still waiting for my money as well. In the paperwork it said up to 3 pay periods which seems a little too long, but as long as I get it soon I'm ok. To those that come on here just to start something... They're probably commenting during their shifts at a Sam's where they still think they matter. The real laugh is at you kids.
As for me, I have not stepped foot inside a Sam's or Walmart since our club closed it's doors. I renewed my Costco card (which is closer to me anyway), and do the rest at my local Target and grocery store. Both which are within walking distance from my house. Feels so nice!
Gain out no longer with the company...I haven't received the letter, that should be signed as of this day 4/18 and I need all my insurance money that I never used and 25 day pto time along with the hourly time that was 48 hours before I went into management yes every ,dime...I will give them a little time.
“Gained” just means terminated out of the computer system. For person that said he will get 19 weeks of pay and then collect unemployment, depends what state you live in. In Ohio you cannot collect until 19 weeks are up because this is considered income from your employment. You can file as soon as you are gained out but not eligible to receive anything until 19 weeks are up.
Your a-- will be in a Walmart or Sam's next week shopping and giving the company that fired you your money. Logging onto the wire everyday and seeing someone of the front page that actually thinks they matter to this company is sickening. Some grocery teamlead is on there right now that thinks he actually means something to this company and eventually his eyes will be opened.
I'm sure the company will still be around. And you ain't naming nobody. Little a-- cowards. If u hate Sam's so much. Say what u wanna say. Dont be scared.

I emailed associate info and they told me it would be sent out today. They are also supposed to pay me for my 5 unused PTO days on the last check.
Got mine last Thursday. About 3 weeks to process mine. I sent in my packet ASAP. 19 weeks of pay is kinda nice..... Filed for unemployment..... taking time finding new job. Even though I do not have a new job as of this moment, I am grateful to no longer being part of Sam's/Walmart!!! Life IS better outside the club!!! :)
Can you explain what GAINed out means. I don't mean to sound stupid. But I'm not sure what that is.

I feel the same way. It went from a company that I totally respected and defended against naysayers. And yes, I'm doing the work of three people and they just keep adding on. Outs, unbelievable. I really think the media should know what is going on.
