Anyone else notice the new external heading when a email comes in? Just heard it is so that people with QTD dates can no longer send emails to an address outside of State Farm. Like any company in their right minds would want to do what we are doing.

I am sensing further discussions....
Stay in your lane...
Why the hell would anyone want to send external emails from their SF account?
Are you serious? What kind of question is this?
Some of have to send emails to external parties in order to do our jobs. Try being a Systems resource working with 5 different vendor groups without the ability to send emails to those vendor email addresses. That's just one example.

I am now commencing the end of all discussions. Anyone caught commenting further in any sort of discussion will be reprimanded most severely.
P.S.
One thing the OP got right. When I was given my QTD, I had about a 4 hour window wherein I could send external emails. After that, my email privileges were locked down tight and I actually had to have my manager fill out a form to approve email destinations where I had a regular business need to send.
So, it's not all B.S.

Okay, now I commence the official "end of discussions." All discussions. No exceptions.
That person is right though there is no reason to even discuss it. The rumors get dumber every day
That's been around for a couple of years, was a big announcement about it in my area.
Geez... "End of discussions."
Good luck in life.
End of discussions.
All discussions everywhere or just this one?
Don’t know where you have been but the notification changes have been active for many months. This is part of the Information Security Awareness. It increases awareness so employees don’t send emails containing PHI to outside addresses. It also helps prevent employees from clicking on outside phishing emails. This has nothing to do with QTD. End of discussions.
