Only 3 out of 11 tracks are about Java. That’s not a rename. That’s a different conference. That’s Oracle drastically lowering its investment in Java.

This is feeling more and more real. According to their twitter feed, the call for proposals WAS going to be this week, but it is almost Friday and still silence. I think JavaOne will just get folded into OpenWorld. They won their lawsuit, they don't need to pretend to care about Java anymore.
