And, he's done such a fine job! Falklands. Newfoundland. Marcellus. Rosetta. Shareholder value.

It gets even better for DS as time goes on. Assuming a “measely” 5% annual increase, his gross will rise to $13.7 million, with an after tax net of $8.6 mil, in 5 years.

Assuming D keeps his annual living expenses to only $1 miillion a year, by flying commercial and getting rid of an extra maid, he’ll accumulate $40.1 million over the period. That includes cumulative investment income, assuming an avg annual ROR of 8%. After that his modest savings will return a paltry $3.25 million annually income stream. Not bad for a guy who hasn’t got a clue on how to run an oil company.

Think about that when they hand you your severance package.

Dude, not quite. For 2017 the top marginal tax rate was 39.6% not 50. Assuming D-a-v-y’s average rate was that high, which it isn’t, drops his net down from $11.2 to $6.8 million. Ouch! Poor man. How can he possibly survive on such a pittance?

Now really 3jtu, who’s the dumb sh#$?

$11 million for DS? That’s about $10.95 million too much. This company is managed by the biggest bunch of dolts in history. Where is the Board of Directors? Unbelievable!
