It doesn’t work like that. You get the same 60 days to find a position or take severance just like anyone else.
STD even though eliminated and paid for through biweekly deductions why can’t I get that until it ends then my 60 days. This goes for long term if I’m on long term how does this effect me.
If your position is eliminated during short term disability my guess is you would be subject to finding another spot or taking severance
What about if you’re on STD and your position is eliminated before you are able to return? What can you expect?
Gotta love those employees that want full time but have crap availability. Boohoo, I can't work weekends. I can't close. Last time I checked Sam's was trying to run a business.
Scheduling is done by redprairie,,,,,,,,,,hahahahahaha.........wow......geez you are special kind of silly if you think the schedules are not just what the managers want them to be....red prairie is adjustable you silly bean you....if a manager wants to help you along or hinder you they can via the schedule.....full time does NOT mean open availability , rather that is what management wants you to believe it means.....again if red prairie schedules a person only 32 hours a managers can add another 8 for them if they are full time.....quit gargling the kool aid and believing the managers are all for you but that dag goned old red prairie just cant be controlled.....hahahahaha.....management can and does discriminate in many ways....all strictly against company policy of course but heck home office is not going to stop them so guess what ...don't cross'em or your schedule will be next...hahahahahahahahhahahahahahha
You can file an ada request but it clearly states in the paperwork that they will not approve an adjusted schedule as an ada. That is a federally regulated law so you don’t have much of a leg to stand on if you want to fight it.
So let me get this right you are a full-time associate with limited availability and you don't think your hours should be affected. The problem with that is is full-time means you're available from open to close Monday through Sunday. Scheduling is done by redprairie it has no feelings or biased. It sees a hole and it fills it with the person that has availability for that day. If scheduling is changed to suit one individual that is considered favoritism. How would it be fair that you're scheduled the favored shifts because of your medical condition which is no control of your own. Whereas your Associates aren't Limited holding full-time positions and have to close or work weekends. If your management team is retaliating then that's cause to call the 1-800 number. The better question is have you brought this up to them and asked that question. They can approve your limitations but they don't have to guarantee you you'll get your full hours. Hope that you are feeling better and if the medication isn't working with your work schedule maybe you should look into LOL until you can get it adjusted.
If you have limited availability then the optimize schedule may be the one not scheduling you your full time hours. However if they are changing it in retaliation then yes call the 800 or go to your gm.
Please reword or explain a bit better.
