Details coming this week. Changes going into effect in April. Employees are still working for Sam's Club, not 3rd party. Sam's Club only, but if everything goes well, I don't see why Walmart wouldn't follow eventually. Some good changes, but some are bad for our members in my opinion.

Anyone that says optical doesn't make money, doesn't know optical. Huge profit margins. It and pharmacy are always making profits. The HAC has very low margins so it's best to ignore those sales.

I'm sure there are exceptions as always with stores having idiot opticians on staff that doesn't know what they are doing. Especially in no license states. They really need to make the ABO the minimum requirement everywhere.

Optical makes no money. Their numbers are padded because of HAC

New product New prices New lab New computer system. Sounds like 3rd party to me. Along with the Cobra letter I received. Why else would they make such drastic changes all at once. Nobody is telling us the truth because they can’t. It’s called cold business.

I keep hearing on here that we are going 3rd party but my market manager has said multiple time we are not. That the company has put to much money into the Optical department recently to go 3rd party.
